Whether they’re in the sky or between you and your New Year’s kiss, there are sure to be fireworks on New Year’s Eve. On this night, there is fun to be had almost anywhere! Whether you’re popping that cork in Times Square with the masses or simply enjoying it from your TV at home, feel-good vibes are sure to be in the air. Nonetheless, New York’s Time Square ball drop would most definitely have a greater energy in person. If you do have the opportunity to get out on New Year’s Eve, Time Square is first on the list. Relish in the atmosphere until the mayor of NYC lowers that infamous Time Square ball. With live music and entertainment, free party favors, and hourly countdowns, this televised event is a fabulous way to reign in the new year!

Looking for something a little more kid-friendly? Disney World is teeming with New Year’s festivities including parades, shows, attractions, and fireworks. It should be noted, though, that the parks are certain to be crowded. It is advised to arrive early and stay late, take advantage of the less popular rides, and make your way to the fireworks show two hours before it starts. What’s a few lines when you get to celebrate with Cinderella and Mickey Mouse?

Travelling with a 21 and up crowd? The Las Vegas strip is the ideal spot for you. This party city has a plethora of options for visitors and locals alike. Purchase your ticket in advance from the hotel of your choice to nab your up-close viewing experience of the fireworks show. If you’re not interested in dropping a lot of cash on a ticket, Fremont Street offers a night full of tribute bands, live and virtual fireworks, and a unique Vegas ambiance for under $40. Whether you decide to reign in the New Year with the mayor of NYC, Disney princesses, or the Bruce Springsteen tribute band, New Year’s Eve is guaranteed fun for everyone!
